注意：这些 MUI 更新不能解决以下可能在安装 Windows XP SP2 后出现的问题：

•	某些帮助主题和条目显示为英文，而不是当前选定的语言。
•	指向某些帮助主题的链接不起作用。
•	Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 帮助菜单的“每日提示”和 Windows XP 非动画“漫游”可能被 Internet Explorer 6 中的新安全增强所阻止。

这些问题将由另一个 Windows XP SP2 MUI 更新解决，该更新将于 2004 年 8 月末或 2004 年 9 月发布。

★winxp 的 Multilingual User Interface Pack 随安装光盘附送，更新版在 service pack 1 中发行，并没有单独发售。service pack 2 相对应的 MUI 将于晚些时候更新

★关于 MUI 的安装，需要遵循下面这个次序（详见：http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;323282）

1.	Windows 2000 operating system (English).
2.	Multilingual User Interface Pack (Muisetup.exe) with the languages that you want. This is also CD 1 from Windows 2000 MultiLanguage Version. You must install Multilingual User Interface Pack before you any install any other fixes and before you install the Multilingual Menus and Dialogs for Internet Explorer.
3.	Most recent Windows 2000 Service Pack. This updates both the Windows 2000 files and the Multilingual User Interface Pack files.
4.	Hotfixes for Windows 2000. Hotfixes contain the most recent post-service pack updates.
5.	Internet Explorer. You must install Internet Explorer after all operating system components have been updated.
6.	Multilingual Menus and Dialogs for Internet Explorer.
7.	Hotfixes for Internet Explorer. These hotfixes update the files for Internet Explorer and for Multilingual Menus and Dialogs.

★如果安装 MUI 的过程中提示这样的错误：

ERROR: CopyFile has failed: C:WINDOWSsystem32MUI407HHCTRLUI.DLL
The data is invalid.
