Replication operation failed because of a schema mismatch|AD replication problem.i have serveral windows 2000 domain controllers in the domain, and i just promoted a windows 2003 R2 to one site,and i also successfully updgraded the AD schema. there is another win2000 DC in this site. but this windows 2003 R2 DC is failed to replicated from window 2000 DC, repadmin /showreps told me "the replication operation failed because of a schema mismatch between servers involved." i checked this windows 2000 DC, the schema version is still 30, but all other DCs's schema version shows 31. why this DC's schema version is till 30? and could you please help me to solve my replication problem? many thanks!

The error message should be:

Active Directory could not replicate the directory partition DN path for partition from the remote domain controller . The replication operation failed because of a schema mismatch between the servers involved.

Is the in the above message the only one DC?

Based on the history and symptoms of the problem, I think the issue is very likely caused by one of the following conditions:

o Condition 1: The source domain controller's copy of the Active Directory directory service contains duplicate multi-valued attributes.
o Condition 2: One or more attributes or pages in the database of the source domain controller are corrupted.
o Condition 3: The source domain controller has attributes in its database that are not covered by the current schema because of schema deletion.
